Wylene is a beautiful bay mare with a willingness to please her rider, she is an ideal school mistress with a great attitude to her work. She has been professionally produced and continues to progress in strength and quality. She works in a very nice natural frame and is light and uphill in feeling. She has three super paces, powerful and correct, she has good extensions with lots of ability to collect. The lateral work is also very impressive showing plenty of crossing and an active hind leg and has a good range for the extension and collected work and she performs her changes with ease and grace.

Wylene is a very comfortable ride and would be suitable as a young rider horse but would also accommodate a less advanced rider. She has a very relaxed attitude to her work and is very obedient when in any environment.

Her sire is the world famous San Remo. San Remo is a promising young stallion who was foaled in Germany by state premium mare Valente. His sire is Wolkentanz I, who many consider the best son of the legendary Hannovarian stallion, Weltmeyer. San Remo's talent for dressage was recognized in the 2001 during the Hannoverian Stallion Selection in Verden, where he finished fourth in the championship.

San Remo was exported to the Netherlands where he completed the KWPN stallion evaluation at Ermelo in 2002. The KWPN jury scored his walk as a 7 and trot and canter as 8. Dressage ability was scored as 8.5. Of the total group of 16 stallions rated by the of jury, San Remo was placed second for dressage ability.

In 2003, San Remo made a good impression in the Pavo Cup Finals where he finished fifth with rider Edward Gal. He also turned in a second place finish in the 2002/2003 KNHS/KWPN stallion competition at 's Hertogenbosh
